All of our properties are located within a few blocks of Rowan Boulevard, a $300 million makeover of historic downtown Glassboro, and the largest ongoing municipal redevelopment project in New Jersey. One-third of a mile long connecting Mullica Hill Road (Route 322) with Main Street, Rowan Boulevard has literally transformed the borough since ground was first broken in 2009 and is just getting started.
The boulevard’s first major retailer, the 36,000-square-foot Barnes & Noble offers more than 75,000 volumes, a University textbook section, Varsity Spirit Shop, and an indoor/outdoor Starbucks café.
Located in the Whitney Center, Prime offers delicious organic burgers, fries, and hand-spun shakes all made fresh to order. Prime also serves beer and wine and is open from 11:30AM-9:00PM Sunday-Thursday and from 11:30AM-10:00PM on Fridays and Saturdays, Check out their menu here.
The historic downtown end of Rowan Boulevard features an all new, 1.5-acre Town Square, a gathering place for community events and celebrations, concerts and shows throughout the year. The site hosts an open air market in summer and fall, various festivals, and in November 2013 welcomed the Winterland Ice Skating Rink, the first outdoor ice rink in Glassboro history.
